GP’s

Our advice for GP’s is split between those that are partners in a practice and salaried GP’s or locums.

When dealing with salaried GP’s and locums, we first review the various benefits provided by the NHS Pension scheme. We then look to build any additional financial planning around this where required.

Partners of GP practices tend to have more complicated affairs, since there are additional considerations, such as partnership agreements, locum cover etc.

The calculation of a GP’s deemed contribution can be very complicated and requires liaison with accountants. Once the appropriate information is provided we are able to calculate the deemed contribution with respect of the annual allowance and therefore income tax planning.
